It can take such a long time to realise how to achieve your dreams in life, you may have a set goal but don’t know what to do to get there or you may be well on your way towards them, or may have even already achieved them. On the other hand you may have only just realised your dreams and it’s so important that you go for them, full steam ahead. This is sounding like a very cheesy post already and it will probably continue… You hear the phrase ‘follow your dreams’ all the time but is it really the best advice? Personally I would say yes! I would much rather prefer to sacrifice a few things and try my hardest to pursue my dreams even if it fails, as otherwise I would always have that ‘what if?’ voice in the back of my head. I believe that you should give it your best shot and really go for it, and if it doesn’t work out then try and find a new dream that you want to follow.
Along your way you will most likely get those people who put you down or don’t believe in you, luckily I have amazing parents and boyfriend who are all very supportive however not everyone in my life was like this. Some will literally try to stop you from achieving what you want whilst others might be quietly unsupportive, you know those people who want to ignore what you’ve achieved or trying to achieve? Personally it motivates and pushes me more as I become determined to prove them wrong and I’m not going to lie, it’s a pretty good feeling when you do. The most important thing is to not let anything or anyone hold you back. There are a few things I would like to achieve before the end of the year and even though telling others can be good for motivation sometimes it’s good to keep them a secret between you and those you are close to, especially if they are personal it can be a better idea to protect these dreams. I could ramble on about this topic for ages but I just want to end this post with never let anyone tell you it’s impossible, if you have a dream them go for it!
