I must admit that no other collaboration excites me more than the Disney x Cath Kidston collaborations, every time they are released I want everything from the collection. The Minnie Mouse x Cath Kidston collection was released quite a while ago now, I didn’t manage to purchase anything as I was away at the time and missed out on this Spotted Minnie Mouse Dress that I was lusting after. I did have a look on eBay afterwards and even though there were a lot on there for sale, the prices were insanely high and there was no way I was paying over double. A few months passed and one day when I popped into the Cath Kidston store in Bicester Village there it was, the dress I had been lusting over with only one left in my size! I’m completely in love with this dress and am so happy that in the end it managed to find a way into my life! It’s a navy skater dress with white spots and Minnie Mouse at the bottom, I would say it’s quite a vintage style dress and I couldn’t resist styling it up with some red heels and a statement red lip. It’s a great way to add Disney into your outfit without it being too over the top, don’t get me wrong I love Disney and generally don’t mind if it’s a statement piece however it’s quite nice to have something a little more subtle. The red leather heels are from Schuh and thought they would be perfect with this outfit as the bows on the heels match the one on Minnie Mouse which I thought was quite lovely. Before this year I hadn’t tried out many fashion pieces from Cath Kidston before, I normally gravitated towards their fashion accessories and homeware however I’m now in love with their clothing especially their dresses. I own a few Cath Kidston clothing pieces now and the quality is amazing and they always fit really well. The best thing about this dress is that because of the colours it also looks great in the cooler months with some tights so I will be wearing this all year round.I’m now a massive fan of Cath Kidston clothing and it’s the first thing I go to when I’m in store and now struggle even more to leave without picking something up. Have you tried out their clothing range before?
