Bicester Village has always been one of my favourite places for shopping as I’ve always lived local in Oxford so have grown up visiting, and I’ve loved seeing how it has evolved over the years. I’m going on holiday very soon so thought it was the perfect opportunity to pop to Bicester Village for a day of shopping as well as an afternoon tea treat at The Farmshop.
Unfortunately the weather wasn’t very kind however I didn’t let that dampen my spirits and arrived around 10:30am as it gets very busy during the afternoon on a Saturday so wanted to tackle the shops that are the busiest first (Levi’s, Gucci & Tommy Hilfiger) before all the crowds arrived and the ques started to form. After a few hours of shopping I went to The Farm Shop for afternoon tea as had heard that they serve it but had never been before, and if you didn’t know me and Aaron are huge afternoon tea fans.
The afternoon tea was very affordable at £20 for the both of us (only £10 each!) and we had a selection of sandwiches, scones and sweet treats such as macarons and cakes. It was served with either a pot of tea or coffee and was a delicious treat and very filling. Considering the cost of the afternoon tea you get enough food to fill you up for lunch and was definitely worth the money. It’s such great value and if you’re at Bicester Village shopping, I’d definitely recommend popping in to refuel and relax from the hustle and a bustle. Next time I have a big shopping trip, I’ll be going back to The Farm Shop.
Overall The Farmshop afternoon tea is a delicious treat and is such great value. Also if you’re interested in what I picked up you can watch my Bicester Village haul in which I bought an item I’ve wanted for the longest time from Burberry!
