Antipodes is one of my favourite skincare brands and I use quite a few products from their skincare range in my everyday routine. However I hadn’t previously tried many of their makeup products and wanted to see if they lived up to expectations so I recently tried out my favourite makeup product, lipsticks! I never feel like my makeup look is complete without lipstick, it brings the whole look together and I love everything from nudes to daring reds.

In case you’re not familiar with Antipodes they’re an organic beauty brand which only use sustainably sources, fresh ingredients and combines these with extensive scientific research to create effective results orientated skincare and beauty products.

Antipodes moisture boost lipsticks are formulated with nutrient-rich, pure plant oils which conditions your lips as well as providing a highly pigmented colour. They have a slightly shine and the formulation is long-lasting, although I did have to reapply after eating lunch and dinner as it became slightly faded which is generally expected anyway. The key ingredients which create the nourishing formulation include:
- Avocado Oil – helps to increase collagen production
- Argan Oil – hydrating properties to give lips and soft and moisturised finish
- Calendula Oil – anti-inflammatory properties
- Evening Primrose Oil – rich in healthy fats

As you can see from the swatches, they’re highly pigmented and these shades were created in just one swipe of the lipstick. The shades include:
- Forest Berry Red – warm-based true red
- Dragon Fruit Pink – vivid pink
- Golden Bay Nectar – nude with hints of peach and honey
The creamy texture is comfortable on the lips and overall I’m really impressed with the all the Antipodes lipsticks and found the quality to be consistent throughout all the shades. I’d recommend them if you’re looking for a moisturising lipstick with a highly pigmented colour.
