Okay, before I start this post I must admit that it was only the other week that I was complaining about the cold weather and how I want summer to stay forever. However now that Autumn is here I’m very excited and thought I would share a few of my favourite things about this time of year. Today I popped into Lush and picked up their Halloween range (blog post & video soon!), when it starts to get chillier I have baths more often and Lush release the best products at this time of year. There’s nothing more I love than in the evening running a hot bath, trying out some new Lush products and then putting on fluffy socks and comfy pyjamas. After this snuggling up in blankets with a hot chocolate is the perfect evening.
Another thing I love about this time of year is candles, now I do light these all year round however I love them more in the Autumn and the warming scents that are being released at the moment are amazing. I picked up a Maple & Hazelnut candle the other day from TK Maxx and it made my room smell amazing, definitely need to go back and pick another one up before they are all gone! I’ve also been itching to get Fireside from Yankee Candle but unfortunately it seems to be sold out everywhere,fingers crossed it becomes available again soon. Other things I love about this time of year are:
- Pumpkins (the ones above are what me and Aaron carved last year, I think we actually did quite good)
- Oversized jumpers
- Electric blankets & hot water bottles
- Christmas is on it’s way
- Fireworks
- Hats, scarves and boots (basically being cosy all the time)
