For January 2016 Birchbox have teamed up with Pinterest for their first beauty box of the year! I was very excited about this as I’m a Pinterest addict and spend way too much of my time on there so was excited about this collaboration especially as the idea is to help inspire us to have best year ever in 2016. Also this is my first ever Birchbox that I have tried so I love that it’s with my favourite ever social media platform too! This isn’t just a box filled with beautiful beauty products, there are also adorable inspirational and positive illustrations which I have actually put up on my wall above my desk. The illustrations are by illustrator Viktorija Semjonova to help inspire us for the year ahead, my favourite is the cute checklist one.
Absolution L’Eau Soir et Martin
Why not start off your 2016 with a new skincare routine! Skincare is what I invest in the most and having a routine keeps my skin clear and looking healthy. This is a purifying cleansing water which easily removes makeup. It’s filled with lots of skin loving ingredients including hazelnut oil and aloe vera which is well known for its healing qualities.
Caudalie Fleur de Vigne Shower Gel
I’ve tried quite a few products from Caudalie over the past few years and have always been very impressed! Their delicate shower gel is formulated for those with very sensitive skin and contains aloe vera. If you have sensitive skin I recommend products containing aloe vera as it’s very soothing and calming.
Benefit They’re Real Tinted Primer
I’m a big fan of the They’re Real range from Benefit so was excited when I noticed that this was included. You apply this before applying your mascara and it’s meant to add volume as well as separating and lengthening your lashes. You can also wear it alone for a more natural look so I will be trying this out both ways.
Compact Mirror
As a little bonus item this adorable compact mirror was included with an adorable hashtag. It’s small and the perfect size to carry around with you to check your makeup or reapply your lipstick throughout the day.Parlour Moisturising & Repairing Shampoo & Conditioner
The little shampoo bottle is the perfect size for travelling, these always come in handy when you’re off somewhere overnight and don’t want to have to carry heavy bottles with you. Both the shampoo and conditioner are lightweight formulas which are not only designed to cleanse and condition the hair, but to also strengthen. I have very fine hair which I dye regularly so am always looking for products which help strengthen and repair. They are also peach scented which is beautiful!
Eyeko Fat Liquid Liner in Black
I don’t use liquid liner on a daily basis however love to use it in the evening or for special occasions, they’re also the easiest to use for when you want to achieve a perfect cat-eye flick. This is a chubby pen which makes application easy, I’m excited to test out how smudge-proof this is! I have drawn this on my hand and I must say it’s extremely bold and will be great for a high-impact look.
If you want to try out Birchbox yourself it’s £10 a month plus postage (£2.95), you can check out their website for more information. I’d love to know what you think of Birchbox teaming up with Pinterest and if you loved the products in this months box too!

This box is so cute! You can definitely tell it’s Pinterest inspired. The goodies are almost more exciting than the products :P
However I am curious about the They’re Real primer, could you maybe review it once you’ve tried it out? :D
