Is it summer yet?! Not quite but it’s definitely on it’s way, last weekend we had a little heatwave and it felt like a little taster of what’s to come in the summer. Just when I was getting fed up of the cold the sun made a surprise appearance and I definitely made the most of it, it wasn’t quite hot enough to wear shorts so wore my favourite pair of Topshop joni jeans and whipped out my new top that I was yet to wear.
This Botanical Print Halterneck Top is one of my favourites at the moment, it has small ruffles around the neck and the style is beautiful. It looks great both with jeans and tucked into some high waist shorts which is what I’ll be doing when the weather is warm enough. The print is beautiful and for some reason reminds me Moana which is one of the reasons why I love it so much.
If you watch my YouTube channel then you would have already heard me raving about these Fiesta Pom Pom sandals which I’ve been obsessed with, they’re so much fun and add a pop of colour into any outfit. Everyone has been complimenting me about these and the intricate detailing with all the embellishments is gorgeous, I also love that it has the blue eye as I call it. When I went to Turkey the ‘blue eye’ was everywhere and it’s believed that it wards off evil, I ended up buying lot of room decor, jewellery and keyrings as the belief behind them is lovely.
I know some people think that black jeans aren’t that wearable in Spring, however with my botanical top and pom pom sandals it goes to show that you only need to add a pop of colour with other pieces to make black jeans look great for the summertime.

The sandals are so fun! And I really like the print of your top too, it does somehow remind of Moana :D
You’re right about black jeans – or black anything, really! – if it is worn with patterns and/or brighter colours, it’s still perfectly fine to wear black in the warmer months!

Love this outfit! It’s great for that time of the year where you’re transitioning from Winter to Spring. It was quite cool here in DC last week and this look would have been perfect! I would totally wear those jeans with a bright and flirty top like yours!
