As soon as I saw the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow palette embellished in beautiful Swarovski crystals at my local Charlotte Tilbury counter, I fell in love! This wonderful compact contains a bronzer and highlight powder to sculpt and shape your facial features. It also includes a mini Powder & Sculpt brush which is the perfect size for highlighting and contouring, the soft point at the end of the brush allows you to add definition, warming the complexion.
The palette is available in two shade variants; light/medium and medium/dark. The bronzer is buildable and blends perfectly into the skin, making contouring easily. This is actually the easiest product I’ve ever tried for contouring due to how easily it smoothly buffs into the skin. So if you’re not a contouring expert you’ll find this product easy to work with and as it’s buildable, you don’t need to worry about adding too much.
The highlighter is subtle shimmer with a warming base. Now that the weather has been warming up recently, I’ve been using it every time I leave the house! The way is captures and reflects the light is beautiful and gives a wonderful finish to the skin. Personally I love to use this on my cheekbones, cupids bow and underneath my eyebrow to highlight these areas.
The Powder & Sculpt brush is tapered and soft, created with cruelty-free synthetic fibres. The brush picks up just the right amount of product from the palette and makes it easy to blend. As you can see the shape of the brush and length of the fibres means you can glide the side of the brush along your cheeks, then use the more pointed end for definition.
I keep this on my dressing table as it’s not just a wonderful product, but it’s also a beautiful to have on display. If you love to contour and highlight then I’d definitely recommend this compact, it has become a staple in my makeup whether I’m just popping to the shops or going on a date night.
