Inspired by Charlotte Tilbury’s best-selling nude-pink lipstick, I’m sharing a review on the limited edition Charlotte Tilbury Instant Eye Palette in Pillow Talk. It features 12 beautiful shades to create four different eye looks for every occasion including super soft, intense matte and metallic pearl eyeshadow finishes. The matte shadows contain coated pigments with silicones and emollient oils which give them a silky, luxurious touch which makes them easy to apply and blend across your eye. The metallic pearl shades also contain coated pigments along with emollient esters giving them a soft, cushiony feel.
The iconic packaging for Charlotte Tilbury products is beautiful, the palette is incased in shiny gold and feels luxurious. It’s one of those palettes that you want to display on your dressing table as it’s too pretty to just sit in a makeup bag.
The Day and Desk looks include peachy-caramel, dreamy champagne and shimmering rose gold eyeshadow shades. The perfect combinations to create a more casual look with your eyes whilst still creating a beautiful eye look.
The Date and Dream looks include shimmering rosy pink, blushed berry-rose and soft tawny brown eye shadow shades. These are more intense colours which are perfect if you want to create looks for when you’re going for cocktails out with your friends, or you want your eyes to stand out on a date night.
There are three eyeshadows for each look and the palette shows what each shade is used for. On the Charlotte Tilbury website there are some great tutorials on how to use these eyeshadows to create the desired looks, I used these myself as I wasn’t completely sure how to use the shades together and it was super helpful!
