It’s now the 1st December which means I can officially start celebrating the festive period, I say officially however I bought my Christmas tree last week and have been in the festive spirit for most of November. Christmas is my favourite time of year and I love everything about it from blaring Christmas songs around the house, my mums homemade mince pies, finding the perfect tree and buying gifts for all my loved ones. It’s the perfect excuse to treat those special people in your lives with gifts that they will love and appreciate, there’s nothing better than watching someones expression after they’ve opened a gift from you and I absolutely love spoiling my friends and family. When I was younger I’d always walk through the aisles in Boots looking at all their gift sets getting excited for Christmas, their ‘Natural Collection’ as well as their ‘Glitter Babes’ range was a must-have at the time which I’m sure any of you 90’s kids will remember. Thanks to their amazing ranges I spent my school life smelling sweet like strawberries and sugar plum, giving me a little confidence boost. I can still remember opening my little flower shaped bottles of fragrances on Christmas morning and trying out ‘Sugar Plum’ for the first time, it made me feel really grown up and now as an adult I still love to receive fragrances as gifts as they feel very special. I always want to buy my friends and family lovely presents, however with saving to buy a house whilst paying rent and bills it can be hard. Boots is a great place for gift shopping as there is a huge selection whether you’re looking for Christmas gifts for her or Christmas gifts for him, and their regular ‘3 for 2’ offer is great if you’re on a budget and have a few people to buy for. They have many affordable gifts as well as luxury products if you’re wanting to spend a little more on certain people at this time of year, however I feel that it’s the thought that counts and not how much you spend. Over the colder months I always write down ideas that my friends and family mention so that I don’t forget, this could be something they have spotted online or a passing comment but I always make a note of this to make sure I buy them what they really would like. Christmas gifting is the chance to spoil my loved ones and make them feel special, when a lot of thought has gone into a present it shows just how much they mean to you and they always notice and appreciate this. One of my favourite people to treat is my mum, she rarely treats herself and spends so much time around the festive period being really thoughtful about what presents everyone would love and doesn’t think about herself enough. I have already bought her a few presents that I know she will love and one is a big surprise, I can’t wait to see the look on her face on Christmas morning when she opens them as I know how much she appreciates the gesture and she deserves to be treated.I’m so excited to be working with Boots this Christmas as I have an amazing giveaway for you.
