I had been on the lookout for a new foundation for a while as I hadn’t tried a new one for months, so I popped down to my local Debenhams and browsed the Clinique counter. I used to use a lot of products from Clinique’s skincare range when I was younger which I loved and had never really tried out their makeup so thought I would pick up a foundation from them!
Cliniques Even Better Foundation (£24.50/30ml) has an oil free formula which appealed to me as I have oily skin and is designed to brighten skin, even skin tone and would be a great choice for those who want SPF 15 in their foundation to protect from the sun. I picked up the shade Alabaster (01) and matched my skin really well.
I found that the foundation blended well into my skin and had a natural finish, however I wouldn’t say that the coverage was medium to full. I did try to build it up to a full coverage to see if it was possible and I found that it was more of a medium coverage foundation which is what I normally go for anyway. As for evening and brightening skin tone it covered any redness easily and my skin looked more healthy when wearing it. Most importantly is that it’s comfortable to wear and you can’t feel it on your skin unlike other foundations. Even with my oily skin this lasts around 8 hours, after this I just touch up with a little bit of powder however it does last longer with a good primer.
The packaging is brilliant, it’s in a squeeze plastic bottle with a fine nozzle so the product is easy to dispense and control, also it’s travel friendly as the lid is very secure and is lightweight. As the consistency of the product is runny I’m really happy with the design of the packaging as you don’t have the problem of squeezing out too much.
Have you tried out any foundations from Clinique before?

That's awesome that it has a squeeze bottle. Why don't more foundations have that?
COOCOO FOR COCO
I know, it's such a shame more don't as it's such a great idea!
I've had my eye on this foundation for a while and this has pretty much sold me, I love the packaging too!

I wish more foundations had the same packaging!
This sounds an amazing foundation! =)

This sounds like a great foundation. I have been meaning to find a comfortable foundation to wear as opposed to my more heavier coverage foundations. Clinique is a brand that I haven't tried with regards to foundations but I have read good reviews on them.
Great post. Have a lovely day ♥

Yeah I like that it's more comfortable to wear everyday :) thank you x
Clinique products are great! I'm using their BB cream at the moment, and it's really good – you have to pay the price for them, but the products are worth it because of their quality. :)

I ended up getting it because it was oil free and my skin is very oily :)
This sounds great, I've never tried a Clinique foundation before. I love their lip products though!
Ahh, disappointing about the coverage :( I'm looking for a foundation with a better coverage than what I'm currently using.
