Current Love: Denim Shirts

Recently I have fallen in love all over again with denim shirts, I’ve added a few more to my wardrobe and have found myself wearing the ones I already had more often. I love how they look and they are perfect for this awkward transitional weather where sometimes you don’t want to wear a coat but it’s not warm enough to wear summer clothes. This one is from ASOS and it has beautiful rose embroidery near the collar which very pretty and makes it a little different as it isn’t just plain.
I’m pretty sure that all my winter hats are going to stay in my wardrobe now (unless it’s freezing one day) so have been wearing fedoras a lot. This black one from ASOS is my favourite as it goes with everything and looks great around this time of year.
I styled it with my trusty joni jeans from Topshop which I’m always obsessed with, it’s hard to find jeans that fit me properly and these are amazing which is why I always buy them. Topshop is one of the only places where I purchase jeans from at the moment and also love the Jamie and Leigh styles too. I had noticed that I kept on using the same bag recently and wanted to change it up a little bit as I have so many lovely ones that hadn’t seen the outside world in a while. So I’m making an effort to change up my bags more often and have been using my Louis Vuitton Speedy a lot recently, I actually forgot how much I loved it!
During the day I’ve been wearing boots and brogues almost every day, however now that the weather isn’t as bitter I thought I would wear some heels for a change. I love how heels look with jeans and these ones from New Look are the perfect height to wear during the day and I love the patent finish.
