I get excited each month when Birchbox arrives at my door, I love trying out new products and brands that I might not have heard about before and is a great way to try out new beauty products. This month instead of a box they have released a neoprene bag to keep all your summer beauty products together, the one I received was ‘Coral Reef’ and I love the change from the box as will get more use out of this!
In America there is such a large selection of different hand gels from places such as Bath & Bodyworks however in the UK there isn’t many to choose from, as someone who always has hand gel with them wherever they go I was excited to see one included. It’s a hand gel from Merci Handy and is meant to also contain vitamins to hydrate and nourish so doesn’t make your hands dry like other ones. Moving onto The Buff Citrus Body Scrub from Anatomicals, this is a brand I had never heard of before however the scrub smells very refreshing and I love to use body scrubs especially in the summer. Then onto a product I already own which is the Philip Kingsley One More Day, it’s a dry shampoo which is meant to absorb oil instantly and refresh your hair. If I’m honest dry shampoos don’t work great with my hair and I need to wash my hair daily as it gets oily very quickly and makes my hair flat, however might be great for others.
There’s a waterproof eyeliner in the shade Mulberry from Macelle which is a deep plum, perfect for the hot weather when your makeup is more prone to smudge. Balance Me is a skincare brand I love and I already have the Radiance Face Mask. If you have oily skin like me then you will love this as it’s a clay mask and has little beads which gently exfoliate. The last iceman English Laundry perfume sample, these are always great as you can test the perfume out before surging on a full-sized version of the perfume. It’s rose scented and is very fresh, perfect for this time of year.
I’m excited to try out these products over the next few weeks and see if I fall in love with any of them! If you want to try out Birchbox for yourself it’s £10 a month plus postage (£2.95) and you will receive your little box of exciting beauty products through the post.

Nice! I’ve always thought about trying out a subscription box, but I don’t know if it would be worth it, since I’m picky about products I use. Do you feel as if you get a good amount of usable products vs. products you wouldn’t use? Are you able to give the ones you wouldn’t use to friends and family, or do they just stay unused?
I loved this months products – especially the perfume which smells amazing. May have to treat myself to the full sized version when pay day finally arrives! x
