False eyelashes are perfect for special occasions, events and nights out when you want to add more glamour to your look. If I’m completely honest I went off them for a while as I found them to be uncomfortable to wear for a long period of time and work out quite pricey. In the past I only used synthetic lashes, even though they normally claim that you can wear them a few times I have never got more than one use out of them.
Recently I was introduced to the Esqido Cruelty Free Mink False Lashes, these were completely new to me so was interested to see what they were like. They are cruelty free which is something extremely important to me, if these were not I would not use them! The mink fur is collected from natural shedding and then is sterilised so that they are hypoallergenic and suitable to use.
The pair I have been trying out are the Unforgettable Mink False Eyelashes* which are very elegant. They are packaged in a durable white case with gold accents which is gorgeous, I’ve been storing them in the case after every use to keep them protected. The lashes have a natural gradient, the length and volume increases across the band going outwards which gives a beautiful winged look. One of the first things I noticed about these is that they are crafted to a high standard, each hair had been carefully placed and the attention to detail is amazing. I found these a lot easier to apply than synthetic lashes, the band is made from cotton so it’s simple and easy to adjust. They’re also super comfortable to wear for long periods of time and it doesn’t actually feel like I’m wearing false lashes after a few minutes of wearing them, amazing! The lashes are soft, very fine and have a beautifully natural curl. Even though I love wearing these in the evening, they would still be suitable for everyday wear as they’re not too dramatic. I had never tried mink lashes before these and now I have I can’t see myself ever going back to synthetics, I didn’t know lashes could be so luxurious and natural looking!
If you have had a look on their website you would notice that everything is in dollars. This isn’t a problem if you’re from the UK like me as they do free US and UK shipping, they also have a warehouse in the UK which they’re sent from so you don’t need to worry about any unexpected import taxes or fees. These retail at £25 for the pair which may sound expensive, but considering these will last around 25 uses it works out to be only £1 each time you wear them which I think is amazing. Overall the quality and look of these is 100x better than synthetic lashes and works out much better value for money considering synthetics are normally around £6 and only last one use. My love for false lashes in back in full force and I will definitely be wearing these too all events and special occasions in the future. If you’re looking for a natural yet glamorous look then these might be the pair for you, or if this style isn’t you but you’re wanting weightless natural lashes they have many more styles online.
