Natural ingredients in products is something that I have found to be very important and makes a huge differences in the results whether it be skincare, or in this case haircare. Faith in Nature is a brand that produces nature friendly products, they use natural ingredients, are cruelty-free and vegan friendly. Now I am a big fan of fresh scents so thought I would try out their Grapefruit & Orange range, as well as the fact the both of these are known for their cleansing properties that I thought would be good at tackling my oily hair.
The Grapefruit & Orange Shampoo* smells beautiful and I like how the packaging reflects the product. It’s designed for normal to oily hair and I have very oily hair that needs washing on a daily basis. I’ve been using this for 2 weeks and have seen a noticeable difference in my hair, the main one being that I the day after washing my hair doesn’t look as oily as it previously did before I started using this shampoo. It’s quite runny in consistency which doesn’t bother me and leaves my hair feeling fresh and cleansed after use.
The Grapefruit & Orange Conditioner* is a slightly different scent, I would say the grapefruit is a little stronger in comparison to the shampoo but I love it regardless. The combination of the two products have obviously both contributed to my hair being less oily and me not having to wash my hair on a daily basis. Similar to the shampoo this is runny in consistency which I’m not that over keen on as I prefer conditioners to be thicker, also I have very long hair and this isn’t very good at detangling.
Overall I’m really impressed with how both of these have controlled my oily hair so that I don’t need to wash it everyday if I don’t want to as it now still looks good the day after. I really love the shampoo and would definitely use this again, however the conditioner I didn’t like as much. The reason for this is because I need something that can detangle my hair which is fine and long, however if you have shorter hair or hair that doesn’t tangle instantly like mine I think you will really enjoy this product.
