Finding the Perfect Christmas Tree

IMG_9819 IMG_9804 The other week I headed back down to Oxford to help my parents find their perfect Christmas tree! Me and Aaron have an artificial tree so I couldn’t wait to help them pick out a real one, I had never gone to a Christmas tree farm so was very excited. The place which we went to was called The Tree Barn at Christmas Common and as you drove up to it there were fields upon fields filled with Christmas trees!IMG_9801 IMG_9815 It was the first day that they had opened this year so it was busy and filled with lots of other people who were very excited too, it was such a lovely atmosphere. We took quite a while finding the perfect one and then headed into a lovely shop filled with lots of Christmas decorations. They were all so beautiful so couldn’t resist picking up a few decorations including a santa, snowy rabbit, hedgehogs and a sparkly polar bear.IMG_9805 IMG_98097It was freezing cold so wrapped up nice and warm and thought I would take a few outfit photos with all of the Christmas trees! My coat is from Oasis and I absolutely love how it fits, I also love the fur collar which is a lovely little touch. I wore this massive scarf from Louis Vuitton which is incredibly warm and soft, it’s my favourite scarf that I have ever owned and is in most gorgeous blue and cream! Then I obviously had to wear my faux fur hat as nothing keeps my ears warmer than this and took my Louis Vuitton Neverfull as it’s my current go-to bag. Also on my lips I’m wearing MAC Diva which I become obsessed with every winter, it’s such a gorgeous shade!IMG_98081I think next year I’m going to have to get a real tree instead of an artificial one as it was so exciting looking around finding the right one, plus they look amazing. I hope you like how I incorporated an outfit and lifestyle post into one, I thought it might be a bit more interesting then just showing you my outfit!

Getting/putting up the Christmas tree is such an exciting part of Christmas. We have an artificial tree in our flat this year, but I can’t wait until I can eventually get a real one!

Love your outfit, especially the black fluffy cat on your head haha =] I’ve never had a real tree, my mum said our cats would use it as a toilet so we’ve always had fake ones but i always try and make them pretty every year.

Christmas tree farms sound like so much fun – I’ve never been to one but really want to :( I’ve seen Tanya Burr’s vlog where she goes to one too, and it looked awesome! I hope you’ll be showing us the Christmas decorations you picked up!
I really like your coat by the way, the colour suits you :)

Love the mix of fashion and lifestyle! The outfit looks amazing and it certainly looks fit for the cold season! Good idea to stock up on Christmas decorations too, whilst you were there! :)

I wish I could have a real tree! I have asthma so I can’t have a pine tree in the house or I get quite sick. It looks like a lovely day and you look adorable!

I have an artificial tree and I think they’re just as lovely, it’s a shame you can’t have a real one though! Thank you :)
