Flashmob Electric Kisses Bold Color & Shine Lipsticks Review

If you’re into bold bright makeup then Flashmob Cosmetics is definitely the brand for you! Flashmobs Electric Kisses Lipsticks* come in four bright colours and retails at £10 which makes it only £2.50 for each lipstick. Even though these are bold colours I’ve found that some of them are very easily wearable for every day and apply smooth and slightly creamy.

The shades include:
  • Wakin’ The Dead – I think this aqua blue is a really pretty shade and is a fun shade to wear, however I’m not brave enough to wear it daily. This is very pigmented as gives an opaque finish.
  • Seeing Fireworks – A bright bold pink that is easily wearable everyday. The pigmentation is good, you need to build it up a little bit but I really like the finished look.
  • Talkin’ Smack – I love this lilac purple and it’s a great colour for Autumn and have been loving it in the run up to Halloween, it’s quite easily wearable. You need to build up this shade in order to achieve the full colour but I don’t mind as it means I could always wear it more sheer too.
  • Danger Zone – This is a bright yellow and doesn’t really suit my skin tone, however I think it would work better on darker skin tones. It’s very pigmented and you can achieve an opaque look without having to build it up.

The lasting power of these is average, so they last a good few hours but need to be reapplied throughout the day however this isn’t a problem and is the same with most lipsticks. The packaging is metallic and bright which I think looks really fun and cute, each reflecting the colour of the lipsticks. They made from plastic so have a slightly cheap feel to them but then again they are only £2.50 each!
