Gatineau Best Sellers | Are They Worth the Hype?

Over the past few years I’ve become obsessed with skincare and my skin has definitely thanked me for it. I’m quite strict with my daily skincare routine and love trying out new products and seeing results. Over the past two months I’ve been trying a few best sellers from Gatineau with my mum and have put them to the test to see if they’re worth the hype. The reason I’ve been testing them with my mum is because a few of these are targeted at older skin so would make a bigger difference with her using them, also she’s a massive fan of Gatineau so was over the moon when I asked if she wanted to try out a few products. The first product is the Age Benefit Integral Regenerating Cream for Dry Skin which my mum has been using as it’s for age 50 years and beyond. It’s a powerful cream which targets all the advanced signs of ageing whilst moisturising and nourishing the skin. The active ingredients are:

  • Calcium – strengthens thinning skin
  • Red Algae Extract – corrects brown spots and revives radiance
  • Artichoke Leaf & Hibiscus Extract – slows dow the appearance of ageing
  • Sweet Almond Oil – nourishes and hydrates
  • Avocado Oil & Shea Butter – intense nourishment for dry skin

Over the past few months my mum has seen a noticeable difference in her skin in regards to skin not appearing as thin and her dryness is reduced. She’s starting to see a slight difference in wrinkles with them appearing smoother, however I feel that you would have to continue using this product over a longer period of time to see even more results. The other product that my mum has been trying out is the Age Benefit Integral Regenerating Eye Cream which comes with an eye wand which improves micro-circulation. She has always expressed the importance of using eye cream as the first signs of ageing normally appear around your eyes, so I’ve been using another eye product that I’ll mention in a moment. This cream is rich in minerals and skin loving ingredients such as:

  • Marine Extracts – nourishes, balances and strengthens the skin
  • Caviar Extract – boosts collagen production
  • Cotton Seed Peptides – soothes and products the skin
  • Hydrolysed Vegetable Proteins – helps to improve collagen synthesis

I was so happy when my mum told me that her skin felt more hydrated and firmer, so she’s going to continue to use both of these products as she’s loving them. The next two products I’m going to be talking about I’ve been personally using. The White Plan Protect Cream is designed to even out skin tone and give a luminous appearance, suitable for all ages. It contains:

  • Whitening Complex – promotes clearer, brighter and more even complexion
  • Natural Plant Proteins – provides a tensor and lifting effect
  • Mattifying Complex – helps purify and clarify the skin

The biggest difference I’ve noticed from using this product is that my skin tone is more even. Normally I have uneven skin tone and red patches, however I’ve seen a huge difference and can’t wait to see even more results over time. The last product from Gatineau is the Perfection Ultime Miracle Eye Contour Cream which is also suitable for all ages. I believe that you’re never too young to start using eye cream and it’s the area of my face that lacks hydration. This is a lightweight and hydrating treatment which protects the skin whilst lightly concealing dark circles. It contains:

  • Hyaluronic Acid & Vitamin E – hydrates and conditions the skin
  • Ginseng Root Extract – energises and refines the skin
  • Grape Seed Extract – protects the skin
  • Aloe Vera & Green Tea – soothes the delicate eye area

You apply a small around under and around your eye in the morning, and pat gently to blend. It does exactly what it says and my eye area now looks brighter and smoothed, it’s also great if you don’t want to wear any makeup but still want to brighten up your eye area. I’ve fallen completely in love with these Gatineau products and I can say with confident that the hype around them is well and truly deserved. Have you used any Gatineau products before?

The gradual tan is amazing. No smell and the colour is really natural. Also have the tan accelerator cream for prepping the skin before a holiday. Smells lovely and feels luxurious. It is expensive but worth every penny so far. Going to try more of their products

My mum got me into a skin and body care routine when I was 13. Sadly she is no longer here but she always had lovely smooth skin up to the age of 76 when she passed. She always used good products on her skin and bought the same for me so Ive carried on with this. I love Gatineau but its a bit pricey for me. I usually wait until they have a special value set on QVC and buy them that way. Today is special value day – a set of their new regenerist face wash, serum, eye cream and moisuriser, so Ive sent for it. Such a great price 75 quid! The normal price for all four products would be over 200! Cant wait to start using it although I do have some older products to use up first.
