Over the past few months working out has taken a back seat, what was a few weeks of not working out has turned into almost a year and it’s about time I got back on track. I stopped exercising because of personal issues and I’ve definitely needed a lot of motivation to get back into it after such a long break, however I’ve finally found the motivation that I needed.
I’m going to ease into it slowly with 2-3 High Intensity Interval Training sessions a week, then as I build my fitness back up I’ll increase this to more if I want to. Aaron has already started doing the Shaun T HIIT so I think I will do the same as I got great results last time I did it and found that the 30 minute workouts were easy to fit into my day. One of the things that motivates me the most is new gym wear and I love Pink Soda (who are owned by JD Sports). I already have a few sets from them and my newest one is this matching set in grey with glittery panels along the sides, who said sportswear couldn’t be cute?! These are the Brushed Metallic Panel Leggings which are super soft made from sweat-wicking material to keep you both cool and dry. There are mesh panels below the knee which enhances breathability and I love the rose gold glittery accents down the sides of the legs. This is the Brushed Metallic Sports Bra and is made from the same soft material that’s comfortable to work out in and doesn’t irritate, it has a racerback fit which allows you to move without any restriction. The back of the sports bra has a long pull zip which is amazing, the amount of times I’ve struggled undoing the zip on the back of sports bras or trying to squeeze out of one which don’t have a zip is more than I can remember, however as this has a long one it makes it so much easier (yes it’s just a little thing but honestly makes all the difference). If you’re looking for new gym wear and gym clothing I’d definitely recommend Pink Soda as I’ve been wearing their sportswear for over and year and love the quality and styles they offer.I’m so excited to get back into working out and get into a routine, I’m going to do HIIT as that was always my favourite and was the type of workout that I always saw the most results and improved my fitness levels the quickest. Day one of working out starts today, it doesn’t matter that I didn’t start at the beginning of the year I’m just glad I’ve got my motivation back and can’t wait for my fitness levels to improve and to generally feel much better!
