Going Bananas for Bold Prints!

This summer I’ve been obsessed bold prints and have been wearing everything from lemon printed dresses to even more bolder styles, such as this gorgeous dress with bananas all over. It’s from Manchester based label Glamourous where they believe that individual style is key. Over the past few months I’ve struggled with my individual style as it has changed, however I’ve been stepping outside my comfort zone and have been defining my individual style further. Button through skater dresses are everywhere at the moment and this has a flattering v-neck and is a fun and playful style. It’s effortlessly chic to throw on for lots of different occasions and can be styled both up and down depending on your accessories and shoes. At the beginning of the year I went through a phase where I bought a lot of neutral coloured clothes and accessories, however over the past few months I’ve been loving bold prints which make a statement and it seems like I’m not the only one. Bold prints are everywhere from a cute playsuit with stripes, to shorts with polka dots, and you can’t really go more bold than this banana print dress! However it’s not just prints that stand out, the fashion brand Warehouse* currently has beautiful collections of jumpsuits and playsuits which don’t just include bold prints, but also vibrant all-over-colour styles for all occasions. Whether you’re going to a friends BBQ or a wedding, why not make an impact and go for something a little more daring and possibly out of your comfort zone? I must admit that when I first ordered this banana print dress I did wonder if others would think that it was a little too out there, however I feel great when I’m wearing it and I’ve had so many compliments! This gorgeous little bag is from one my favourite bag companies, Zatchels. They are a modern British accessories brand which is founded on years of experience as a traditional leather goods manufacturer. Their pieces are made from high quality leather and I love the range of different fun colours and designs that they produce. I actually now have a few bags from them and they are truly beautiful. I’d love to know your thoughts on bold pieces of clothing and if you often step out of your comfort zone when it comes to style. I feel like I’m really starting to define my personal style and I’m excited to see how it evolves over the next few months.
