This is the last Christmas gift guide of the year and it’s all about gifts for the home. As always there’s a variety of different gifts and ideas so there is something for everyone. Some of these are decor whilst others are items you use around the home, I have included everything from mugs, to cute slippers to the most beautiful radio I’ve ever seen.
I’m an avid tea drinker and I feel that having a cup of tea in a teacup and saucer makes it a little bit more special. This is the Royal Pip Teacup & Saucer which is from Amara which has so many lovely gifts for Christmas. It’s made from porcelain and has a beautiful, blue and gold floral design with scalloped edging around the saucer. It would make the perfect gift for any tea lover or anyone who you think would love how pretty this and and enjoy drinking out of it.
Valley Mill is a brand that I have already featured in my Stocking Fillers gift guide and they specialise in high quality home products and giftware which is handmade in Wales. This is the Roast Chestnut Soy Candle and Roast Chestnut is one of my favourite scents for this time of year, it also has a wooden wick that helps to increase burn time. The lid is made from Welsh slate with the Valley Mill logo and doubles up as a base and high quality coaster. Burning this in the evening watching a Christmas movie would be perfect, the room would also smell incredible.
Next up I have two homeware pieces from Chickidee which sells a range of lovely homeware gifts. The first one I want to share with you is this wooden plaque with the cutest ever quote, “every love story is beautiful but ours is my favourite”. There are so many different quotes to choose from depending on who you would be giving it too and there’s a mixture of loving, sentimental and funny plaques. It’s thick enough to have it self standing however is light so can be easily hung on the wall. Next is this quote mug that says “we go together like tea and biscuits”, just like the plaques there is a wide variety of different sayings and you can find the perfect mug for your other half, family, friends or even as a little Christmas treat for yourself.
I had never come across an Apple & Ginger Pudding candle before so I was very interested to see what this was like and it smells exactly how it sounds, apple and ginger fills the room which is a lovely warming scent. It’s from Aromand who create luxury handmade fragranced candles and jewellery. All of their candles are made from high quality mineral wax and have a burn time in excess of 50 hours so you will get plenty of use out of this. I love the simple minimalistic design with the chrome lid, it would look lovely in anyones living room or bedroom.
This Larry the Lizard Toothbrush holder is such a fun thing to have in the bathroom and you will get lots of people commenting on it when they use the bathroom in your home. It has a simple sucker to keep him in place and would make a great gift for both adults and children, it also comes in a few different colours so you could have one for each member of the family. It’s from Totally Funky which was also featured in my lifestyle gift guide and they have a variety of funny and unusual gifts for all ages.
You may have seen those cinema light boxes all over the internet and this Speech Bubble Light Box is a great alternative as it’s a bit more unusual and you can write and draw whatever you want on the box. Included is a dry wipe marker and you could always buy more of these in different colours if you wanted to make your designs more colourful, there are also stencils which is what I’ve used for these as I’m not the best at bubble writing. It’s from The Presenter Finder where you can find unusual gifts and there is something for everyone.
You might remember the Reindeer Gromit that was featured last years homeware gift guide, well this year I have a Shaun the Sheep Fleece Navidad figurine to share with you which is beautiful. It’s hand painted and is designed by Vivi Cuevas who has transformed this Shaun the Sheep figurine into an adorable reindeer for Christmas. I love the detail that has gone into him and it’s something that I will be displaying every year for the Christmas holidays, however they have lots of other designs too. It’s amazing that all of the profits from the sales of all their merchandise go to The Grand Appeal, the Bristol Children’s Hospital Charity so it makes the gift even more special as you’re not just buying someone something lovely for Christmas but also contributing towards a great cause.
This is hands down the most aesthetically pleasing radio I have ever seen, but it’s not just beautiful the quality of the sound is also amazing. It’s the VQ Hepburn Mk II which is a DAB radio and Bluetooth speaker that maintains all of the designer aesthetics of the original Hepburn but with some great upgrades and features. As it’s a DAB radio there are so many more radio stations to listen to and I have had the Christmas station on almost constantly! You can easily connect your phone using Bluetooth so can play any content from your library or stream from Spotify, you can also charge your devices are there is a USB charging port at the back. The sound quality is incredible even if you turn the volume right up it still sounds great as it has upgraded dual ultra-wide speaker drivers which are further enhanced with Digital Sound Processing technology. Another handy feature is the dual alarms so me and Aaron have our separates ones and I have set mine to start playing the Christmas radio station as my alarm which is amazing to wake up to. I have a rechargeable battery pack for mine so I can take it with me from room to room and even on the go, it lasts up to 25 hours so you can go a long time without the need to plug it in. One of my favourite things is the wide range of different colours that this is available in, normally radios are only available in black or silver so I chose this beautiful blue which looks amazing in the home and can match your style. Also the faux leather surround makes it even more luxurious. Since I got mine my parents have actually bought the same one for themselves as they fell in love too.
These Unicorn slippers from Prezzybox are the most magical and incredible slippers I have ever seen! They have the cutest face on the front and a shiny unicorn horn, I’ve seen quite a lot of unicorn themed products recently but this has to be my favourite out of them all. When I put my feet in these they’re all warm and cosy as it’s soft on the inside and has a cushion sole. I love to be extra cosy at this time of year and these are perfect for those cold evenings when you want to be all snuggled up, they are also an unusual and fun gift!
Who knew hoses could be cute? I didn’t but this Hozelock Seasons Pico Reel in this purple is adorable and perfect for any garden lover or someone who doesn’t yet own one as they really come in handy. Gone are the days of filling up watering cans, all the other hoses I’ve found to be too heavy for me so that’s what I had to resort to however this one is lightweight and easy to use. It’s great for small gardens as it takes up barely any space and would also make a lovely gift for someone who has just moved home.
That’s all of my gift guides now finished for the year, I hope you enjoyed them and they helped with ideas and inspiration. If you missed my others just search ‘gift guide’ at the side of my blog and you’ll easily be able to find them!
