Why I Love Being By The Sea

It’s no secret that I absolutely love being by the sea, whether that’s a trip down to Cornwall (where these photos were taken) for a few days or going on a cruise around the Mediterranean I am in love. There’s nothing more relaxing than the sound of waves crashing and the fresh sea breeze, it’s where I feel most at peace and relaxed. Maybe it’s partly to do with my childhood, reminding me of family holidays so when I’m back there it just makes me happy. It’s no surprise that so many people have their holidays by the sea and some people build theirs lives around being close to the water. When I went on a cruise to the Norwegian Fjords the sea looked like it was completely still, as if it wasn’t moving and we were just floating above it and it is one of the most beautiful things I have ever experienced. It was as if time had stopped still, although in reality it was quickly passing by whilst I was taking it all in. I definitely need to visit there again and will be doing a post all about the Norwegian Fjords as it’s such a beautiful place but I don’t often see many people talking about it. The ocean is such a huge mystery, there is so much that we still don’t know and that’s incredible. There’s a whole world left to discover and explore in the depths of the ocean and we are always discovering more about this blue wonder. It’s so captivating and mesmerising, with a world of wonder just under the surface.

I love being by the sea too! As you said, it’s just so peaceful and relaxing. The sound of the waves make you feel instantly in a comforting environment. The Norwegian Fjords must have been quite an experience! I’d love to see a post dedicated to that, it’s really not a common destination :D
