Jurlique Moisture Plus Rare Rose Range

I first discovered Jurlique a few years ago and have loved them ever since, so when I learnt about their Moisture Plus Rare Rose I was eager to try it out. Many of us have dehydrated skin and with hydration being one of the most important factors for radiant skin, Jurlique has focused on hydrating the skin with their new range. The Moisture Plus Rare Rose range comprises of four new products; serum, lotion, gel face cream and indulgent face cream.

All of the new products in the range feature the extract from Jurlique’s own Rose which has hydrating properties and is unique to Jurlique. There are other nourishing ingredients that have been added to the individual products to create hydrating formula, which I’ll be going into more detail about.

Moisture Plus Rare Rose Lotion

The Rare Rose Lotion (50ml/£35) is Jurlique’s lightest lotion ever, however it still deeply hydrates and replenishes the skin. It sinks into the skin quickly which makes it perfect for under your makeup in the morning. In addition to the Rose extract this also contains Prickly Pear extract and Senna Seed Polysaccharide which softens and soothes dehydrated skin.

Moisture Plus Rare Rose Serum

I know a lot of people assume that their face cream is the most important product in their skincare routine, however serums are the best kept secret. The Rare Rose Serum (30ml/£45) contains Dwarf Lilyturf Root extracts protect and supplement the skin barrier function, allowing your skin to receive the full benefits from your moisturiser, therefore this is best used in combination with one of the moisturisers from the range. I use one pump every morning and pat over my face and neck, keeping my skin hydrated and nourished. Out of all the products in the range this is my favourite and is now a staple in my skincare routine.

Moisture Plus Rare Rose Cream

The Rare Rose Cream (50ml/£35) is an indulgent cream enriched with Cupuacu butter to nourish the skin. As you apply this to the skin it feels silky smooth, as it’s thicker than the lotion I like to use this in the evening before going to bed. If you like to use a jade roller on your skin then you’ll love using it in combination with this face cream.

Moisture Plus Rare Rose Gel Cream

If you have oily skin then you might prefer the Rare Rose Gel Cream (50ml/£35). The lightweight gel formula is great for the hot weather when you want to use something lighter on the skin but still hydrating. It’s formulated with Mastic Gum to rebalance dehydrated skin and helps to prevent oiliness. It’s a myth that you can’t have dehydrated skin if it’s oily as I personally found out, so most of the time I use light or gel products as it allows me to hydrate my skin without making it oily. When I go on holiday to a hot destination I always use a gel face cream in the morning as it helps my makeup last better during the heat.

Overall I’m in love with the Jurlique Moisture Plus Rare Rose range as the products are not just hydrating, they also smell incredible! I’ve tried quite a few different skincare ranges from Jurlique and this is definitely one of my favourites. Even though all the products are wonderful, if I had to choose a favourite from the range it would be the Rare Rose Serum and it’s now a staple in my skincare routine.
