Laura Geller – Magic of Color Review!

Hello everyone, I am SUPER excited to show all of you this so I’m going to get straight to the point. I recent purchased the Laura Geller Magic of Color Beauty Collection, this was a todays special value on QVC UK. It comes in a packaged lovely in a pretty pink box and has a tray inside which contains all of the makeup.

   Balance-N-Brighten In Fair
This is the number one makeup product I could not do without. I first purchased this a few years ago and have been addicted to it ever since, it is the only product that makes my skin look flawless. Now let me tell you what it is, it’s a colour-correcting powder foundation, and even though I tend to wear a thin layer of liquid foundation underneath, you can wear this on it’s own! If you haven’t tried this you really should, any redness on my face is instantly gone, and the best thing about it is that you only need to use a little bit. One of these lasts me roughly 3 months, and that’s me using it everyday!

Baked Flambe Blush In Pink Velvet
Now, I have been on the look out for a very pale pink blush for a while now that is highly pigmented, this ticked all the boxes. A blush brush is also included but I would only use it as a spare as the brittles are a bit rough on the skin.

    Waterproof Eye Spackle Hues
This is a primer and neutralizer in one, and I’m not too sure what I think of this. I applied it on my eyelids as a base, and upon application I noticed that if you don’t apply the product quickly enough, it turns slightly orange. Once my eye shadow had been applied you could not notice this and it kept my eye makeup in place all day and there was no creasing. Yay! I am going to carry on using this but unsure if I would repurchase.

Baked Flambe Eyeshadow In Pink Chocolate
At a first glance this eye shadow is incredibly beautiful with swirls of pinks and brown. Both colours are highly pigmented, they can be used separately or swirled together to create a beautiful light brown. I also used the brown as an eyeliner, I wet the liner brush which was included and dapped on the brown.
Color Drenched Lip Gloss In Poppin’ Pink
This I was highly disappointed in, it was described as giving your lips a pop of colour, and looked highly pigmented on the models. However this was not the case, it is more of a pale pink, and although it looks lovely and would be great as an everyday lip gloss, but expectations were higher. But that aside, it is a lovely formula and is not sticky at all.

If you have any questions about any of the products or are thinking of/have tried Laura Geller before, I love to hear all of your opinions and comments!
