Here’s the next Christmas gift guide that I have for you and it’s all about lifestyle gifts! I’ve included a variety of different ideas so hopefully you will find something that you think will suit someone, I always find gift guides really helpful so I hope that you will find this lifestyle themed one helpful too. There’s everything from food, to drinks, to books and games.
Phone cases make perfect gifts especially if you’re not sure what to buy someone as basically everyone has a phone and Casemade have some beautiful luxury cases. All of their cases are made from real Italian cowhide leather and are simple designs however sophisticated, you can also notice the amazing quality. This is their wallet case which includes an inbuilt magnetic closure, I’ve had cases in the past from other places in the same style and as they didn’t have magnetic closures they always opened up in my bag so it’s great that this one stays closed. There are spaces where the charger goes, headphone jack and volume control so you can easily use all of these even with the case on. On the other side of the wallet there are three cardholder slots and a slip in pouch which is perfect if I’m taking a small bag out with me or don’t want to take a bag, it means I can still have everything important with me together. It’s such a beautiful case and have had many compliments since using it.
Now something for the food and cooking lovers from Ross & Ross who are a multi award winning fine food company based in the beautiful Cotswolds. This is their Homemade Curing Kit for Salmon, I’m a big lover of salmon and love cooking so was very excited to include this as I think it’s a great idea. There are so many times when I don’t do much in terms of preparing salmon so this is a simple way to achieve some incredible flavours. This kit contains exactly what you need to make your own Smoky, Beetroot and Gin cured salmon at home, you just add these to the salmon and each cure takes three days. If the salmon curing kit isn’t for you they also have a bacon one and lots of other products you might be interested in.
If you’re looking for an alcoholic drink that is quite different then this Chase Elderflower Liqueur from 31DOVER makes the perfect gift, it also comes in this gorgeous gift tin. If you haven’t heard about 31DOVER before they are the UK’s leading online drink vendor who will deliver to your house the next day and have the best prices. This Chase Elderflower Liqueur is perfect in cocktails, champagne and desserts, it would also be lovely not just as a gift but to bring along to a Christmas party! The base is a creamy and smooth Chase Vodka with macerated fresh elderflower blooms to create a liqueur which has the perfect balance of alcohol, sweetness, floral and fruit.
The next gift idea I want to share I had never heard of before but it’s such a great idea, it’s a couples Christmas special gift box from GiftAlien who specialise in gift boxes for any occasion. This one is perfect for couples and includes two personal-sized bottles of Prosecco, two glasses, pick’n’mix, maltesers and a hand-decorated Merry Christmas hanging sign. They are offering a hand gift-wrapping service over the festive period and I loved how this was packaged when it arrived, it even said it was from the north pole which was such a lovely little touch. Everything in the GiftAlien boxes is selected to compliment the other items in the box and is such a lovely gift experience.
When it comes to this time of year me and my family always get out all of the board games and we love to play them together, I love the TV show Very British Problems so was excited when I found out they had released a board game! There are hundreds of question cards which you answer to find out how awkward you and your family are, some of them are embarrassing which makes it even funnier. This would not just make a great present but something lovely to buy to enjoy with the family on Christmas, there are also lots of other gifts on Totally Funky which are quirky and unique if you’re interested in seeing what else they have on offer.
If you’re looking for something personalised this Christmas then The Book of Everyone is the perfect gift! The Book of Everyone was created as a funny, heartwarming and loving celebration of whoever the book is for, there are a few to choose from to personalise and I’ve got The Book of Mum. There’s the option to add photos, quotes and there are funny little facts throughout the book, it makes such a special gift to whoever receives it and is something they will treasure and it will make them laugh whilst also pulling on their heartstrings.
You can’t go wrong with books for Christmas, I’ve always been a bookworm since I was little and there are always new releases that I’m lusting after especially over the festive period. I’m very excited to share about SocialBookCo as it’s a website that I wish I had come across much sooner and makes buying books so much better as they are book comparison experts. On their website you can easily compare the prices all types of books and make it super easy to do this from a number of different of retailers and are completely impartial, the best thing about them is that they’re free to use and you don’t even need to sign up. Now I’ve told you where you can get the best deals for books this Christmas I wanted to share three new releases that I love, the first being Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. I saw this in the cinema however I don’t think movies are ever as good as the book, your imagination can run wild when reading and I loved this screenplay. If you’re a fan of Harry Potter then you will most likely enjoy this too. Next up is the Jamie Oliver Christmas Cookbook, if you were to look on my bookcase you would notice several Jamie Oliver cookbooks as they are some of my favourites. This is packed full of festive recipes for the big day and beyond, one of my favourite sections is the leftovers section as it has some great ideas to use up all those last bits after Christmas. The last book is The Christmasurus by Tom Fletcher, it’s such a magical book about a boy called Willian Trundle and a dinosaur, the Chistmasaurus.
I hope you liked all of my ideas in this lifestyle gift guide and that it gave you some inspiration what to buy as gifts this Christmas, I have a few more gift guides going up so keep an eye out for them if you’re interested!
