Live Like You’re On Holiday Everyday

Okay so the title of this post might be a little over the top, however I recently realised that I’m always happy when I’m on holiday. There’s rarely a stressful moment when I’m away and I wanted to give myself some advice to make my everyday life happier and more fulfilling. As much as I’d love to explore new places and lounge about in my bikini everyday, obviously it’s not possible so I’m going to share some realistic ways to bring that holiday happiness into your everyday life. However whilst we’re talking about bikinis, this beautiful one is from UK Swimwear and is the Gottex Sakura Bikini. I love the style and amazing quality, however the most important thing is that it makes me feel confident when I’m wearing it, and when it comes to a bikini that’s what matters the most. If you’re looking for a new bikini they have huge range with lots of variety, however let’s now move onto how to incorporate that holiday happiness.

Celebrate Every Moment That Brings You Joy

The more you celebrate the little moments that bring you joy, the more happiness it will create. Remember to enjoy the little things such as the fact your favourite TV show has just released a new season, spending time with loved ones, or making your favourite dinner. All these little moments are special no matter how insignificant they might seem, they all contribute to your happiness.

Stop Stressing

On holiday if something goes wrong I deal with it then just let it go, because I’m away and want to enjoy every moment. However in my everyday life if something goes wrong, I sometimes stress over it for too long and let it impact my mood. I’m going to learn to let things go easier as it’s not just every moment of holidays I want to enjoy, but every moment of my life and not let small issues impact the rest of my day.

Don’t Do The Things You Don’t Want To Do

I wouldn’t do something I didn’t want to do whilst away on holiday, so why should I when I’m back home? All those meals and meeting up with people that feel obligatory actually aren’t, it’s okay to say no to things that you don’t want to do and don’t bring you joy. It’s always hard at first, but once you get used to turning things down that you genuinely don’t have any interest in, it starts to get easier and you’ll be happier.

Don’t Be Consumed By Social Media

I barely look on social media on vacation as I love to fully immerse myself in everything else like enjoying the weather, getting lost in a  good book and exploring new places. Yes I love to take lots of photos whilst I’m away, but I normally wait until I’m back to post them. When I return back home it always makes me realise just how much social media consumes my day and how much time I’d have to do the other things that I love, if I just put my phone down more often. Don’t get me wrong I do love social media, but I am trying to limit my time and useless scrolling.

They are just a few of the ways in which I’m trying to incorporate my laid back happy holiday self into my everyday life. If you have any other tips that you’d like to contribute please let me know down below in the comments.
