If you read my blog regularly or have watched my videos over on my YouTube channel then you may know that I wear prescription glasses. I’m not a big fan of going to the opticians to purchase my glasses as I find the sales assistants always hand me lots of different pairs to try on, and I feel slightly pressured. Therefore I always get my online as it’s much more relaxing and I have more time to choose a pair that I like without feeling pushed.
These glasses are from Glasses Direct and are the London Retro Highgate (£95*), the outside of the frames is in tortoiseshell whereas the inside is purple which I really love. The style is slightly square and deep, I think they suit me quite well and also come in a stylish brown case which is orange on the inside. The glasses are very sturdy which is something I always look for as you don’t want them to break, or start falling off your face (this has happened with previous pairs I’ve owned). If you’re more into simpler glasses these are also available in black which look lovely too, or you can choose tinted frames to turn them into sunglasses.
Glasses Direct offer a free 7 day home trial where you can order a few pairs of glasses to try on at home to see how you feel about them and decide what your favourites are, then you just order you favourite pair online and send back the other frames in the post (freepost). Whilst browsing their website you will notice that the frames include single vision lenses so there are no hidden fees or surprises once you get to the checkout.
Let me know if you tend to order you glasses online if you wear them and what you think of these!

Thanks :)
These glasses look fab on you! I’m the same when I buy my glasses, I always like to have a look online first, even if I end up buying them in the shop as they can pressure you a bit! You can often find them much cheaper online than in the opticians, but exactly the same quality! Also- I love your nail colour, it’s so pretty! :)
