L’Oreal have recently released 14 new shades to celebrate 30 years of the Color Riche Lipstick and are available in matte and satin finishes. Superdrug had these on offer at £3 each for one day only and they also had 3 for 2 so I picked up six lipsticks and it worked out to be only £2 each, how amazing is that?! I knew I couldn’t miss an offer that incredible, however as I am a lipstick addict I wish I had picked up more shades. The beautiful gold casing gives the lipsticks an elegant look and are very sturdy (no need to worry about lids falling off as they are secure). They are enriched with a combination of Vitamin E and Omega-3 oils to help protect lips from drying out and feel very moisturising.
Satin 632 Greige Amoureux – Sheer beige nude. It’s not often I find nude shades that suit my skin as I find they can wash me out however this is absolutely beautiful.
Satin 364 Place Vendome – Medium red which is very flattering on my skin tone.
Matte 640 Erotique – Medium pink with a hint of brown. Even though this is a matte it’s still moisturising and I think it is quite similar to MAC’s Brave.
Overall I am in love with the L’oreal Colour Riche lipsticks, they are all pigmented, creamy to apply and leave my lips feeling moisturised and smooth. I’ve also found that none of the shades bleed and are long lasting. There isn’t anything I can fault about these lipsticks and will definitely be picking up some more matte shades as I only purchased one and am eager to try more!
