L’Oreal have released their new Studio Pro range with the idea that you can reinvent yourself everyday. You can get as creative as you want and can try a new look each day to shake up your styling routine and change your style! The bold black and yellow packaging really stands out for me and I love how contrasted it is. If there’s something I’m always trying to achieve with my hair it’s volume, my hair is naturally very fine and flat so I love products that add that extra volume and give my hair more life! I’ve been using the L’Oreal Boost It Mousse Volume XL with the L’Oreal Lock It Fixing Hairspray to attempt to achieve volume which lasts recently and thought I would share how I’ve been getting along with them.
When I was younger I used to love mousse but it’s something I hadn’t reached for in months, so I was excited to try out the Boost It Mousse Volume XL. I scrunched a small amount through damp hair focussing on my roots and then styled as normal using a hairdryer. There are some mousses that leave your hair feeling slimy however this doesn’t do that and did add body to my hair. It didn’t add quite as much as I would have liked it to, however I do have very fine hair and find it hard to add a lot of volume anyway. Although I did like the finished look and have been using it daily at the moment.
Moving onto the Lock It Fixing Hairspray, unlike other hairsprays that I have tried in the past this holds my style without any crispiness. They claim the hold lasts for up to 48 hours which I can’t back up as I wash my hair every day, however it does a good job at keeping my hair styled especially if it has been curled. The scent of the hairspray is actually really nice, normally I’m not that over keen on what they smell like however it’s a very fresh yet not overpowering.

Wondering if they actually would keep up my hair :-D most hairsprays fail with that ^^
