L’Oreal Steampod | Get Salon Styled Hair At Home

I’m excited to share todays post with you as it is about something I had never heard of before and I love the concept. The L’Oreal Steampod is a hair styler which uses both the anodised floating plates and steam in combination to treat as well as straighten and curl hair, the steam actually helps to nourish and hydrate damaged hair. As you can tell by the name the main element at work is steam which is gentler in comparison to traditional stylers as it minimises the amount of heat damage. It comes in two parts which are joined, the straightener and the Steampod which is what you add water to create the steam, and as it has a water demineralisation filtration system the stream produced is crystal pure. It has a comb attachment which you can remove however I have kept mine on as I find it’s much more effective and ensures your hair is detangled. I must just quickly comment about how gorgeous the product itself looks, I love that it’s white as it gives it a sleeker look and is just a little bit bigger than traditional hair straighteners. It has a choice of five different temperature settings from 140°C to 210°C which is great for me as my hair is quite fine so never need to use much heat on it. I’ve been using the Steampod for a few weeks now and have fallen in love, the concept is amazing and it makes my hair look incredibly smooth and soft. As my hair is quite long and is regularly dyed I’m quite careful on what heat products I use, however this makes my hair look a lot healthier and I can go longer without styling my hair. My hair is naturally straight and I used to wash it everyday as it’s quite oily and the ends sometimes go a little frizzy and dry, however if I use this the day after washing my hair it makes the ends look healthy and smooth whilst refreshing my hair to the point where I don’t even need to use dry shampoo. If you didn’t know you can also use this to curl your hair as well as straighten, it creates the most gorgeous natural waves.I’ve been using the L’Oreal Steampod Replenshing Smooth Cream for Fine Hair (200ml) and the L’Oreal Steampod Replenishing Smoothing Serum (50ml) with this device, I just add a small amount of the cream to towel dried hair and then add the serum to the ends. They are both great to use as the cream is enriched with Pro-Keratin technology to create an anti-frizz effect that lasts for up to 3 days, and the serum is enriched with apricot and avocado oils which keep the ends moisturised and healthy. They also have a cream designed for thick hair which I’m going to use for friends who want to try it out and have a different hair type to me.

The L’Oreal Steampod is such a revolutionary product and I have fallen in love with it, I use it every other day to freshen my hair and give it a lovely smooth glossy shine.
