My Love For Embroidery Continues

I’m sure most people have their go-to clothing style that they pick up most of the time and for me that’s skater dresses. It’s such a flattering style as it accentuates your waist and then flares out. When I first spotted this Floral Embroidered Skater Mini Dress I couldn’t resist, it’s not only my favourite style but has embroidery all over and if you’ve read my blog for a while then you will know that I’m obsessed with embroidery. The embroidered organza is absolutely beautiful and there’s also a net skirt underlay. The colours are gorgeous and I don’t think I own that many blue dresses so it’s a lovely addition to my wardrobe/ I’ll be wearing this to a few different events not just weddings over the summer but with a different pair of shoes and bag to change it up a little bit.
I styled it with my Chanel Classic Flap Bag with Vintage Clasp which I’m in love with and wear to almost every special occasion as I feel it completes the outfit and goes with so many different styles of clothing. The jewellery is from Newbridge Silverware and it’s all very beautiful and sparkly. The bracelet is a clover with a few different pretty colours and the ring is a statement piece in a deep sea blue, they both make an impact and stand out. When it comes to occasion dresses such as this one I like to think of them as investment pieces, I always ask myself ‘will I wear this again?’ and if the answer is no it’s unlikely I will make the purchase. There are some styles that will always stay in fashion and I feel like this dress is one of those, I will not just be wearing it this year but also the year after to any occasions and events that I will be attending.I couldn’t resist wearing these Christian Louboutin heels keeping the look classic, just like the Chanel bag these are my favourite to wear to special occasions. As you might be able to tell I’m in love with the summer wedding season as it gives me an excuse to dress up and treat myself to new dresses!
