I’ve been looking for a new eye shadow primer for a while but I really wanted one that I could also wear as an eye shadow for days when I don’t want to wear as much makeup or want a more natural look. I had been interested in trying out MAC’s Pro Longwear Paint Pots for a while now so thought I’d just try one out to see what they’re like.

MAC’s Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly is a nude beige and is very creamy but dries quickly. I’ve been using this alone as an eye shadow as well as a primer and I’ve been loving it. It’s long wearing and creates seamless coverage without looking cakey. If you want to know how long wearing it really is just pop into your nearest MAC store and apply some onto your arm, after a few seconds try your best to rub it off, I assure you it does not budge. When I use eye shadows over the top the colours are enhanced and more vibrant, I’ve also found it to work well underneath both dark and light colours.

It’s £15 so is a little pricey considering what it is but it’s one of those products that is definitely worth the money! I’m going to look into purchasing another one of these, they have some with a pearly finish which I think would look really pretty.

I've tried Soft Ochre and I wasn't a fan of these. Alone, the PPs creased and used as a primer, it creased. I've been much happier with my $5 Wet n Wild primer.

I've always wanted to try MAC Paint Pots. I've seen a lot of YT beauty gurus rave about its longlasting formula. Must try em out soon. I want to check out Soft Ochre too.

Last Sunday I tried to buy this but sadly it was out of stock, I'm hoping to pick it up next time I go.
