When I was little I was a massive bookworm, there was nothing I enjoyed more then getting lost in a book. Did anyone else take part in those reading challenges at school and libraries? I loved them and one I remember was ‘books and beyond’ where I completed it and reached the sun, if you don’t know what I’m talking about then this will make no sense but I loved the challenge of reading so many books in a short space of time. Reading was something I always loved and provides a great escape to the real world, transporting you into a new place and a new exciting adventure. Fantasy books were always my favourite when I was younger as I loved how magical they were and how anything was possible, there were no limits to what could happen and where the story could take you.
As I’ve got older I have had less and less time to sit down and read, however over the past few months I’ve made time as it’s something I missed and love to do so purchased some new books that I had been wanting to read. A few of these I’ve already read and I’m also re-reading the Harry Potter books alongside these and reliving the magic from my childhood. I was so excited about Harry Potter and the Cursed Child being released that I had an urge to read them all again and it’s just as magical as when I was little, also the new book is amazing and I loved it (I won’t say any more as don’t want to give any spoilers away). I’d love to know if you have any recommendations and if you love to get lost in a book too!

I’ve re-read Harry Potter a few times too! I’ve always got a book on the go and find I get the most reading done on my commute or before bed x
Reading is magical! Love being transported to a different world too!
Eek, I am so excited to read the cursed child, saving it for my holiday but I cannot wait!! I so wish that I had more time to read, sometimes life just gets in the way!

I’m rereading the Harry Potter series now too and Cursed Child was also a factor for me. Did you like it? I’m kind of on the fence on it.
I am also an avid reader so I totally understand loving those reading challenges as a kid!
I love reading too! Sometimes it’s hard to find time, especially since we’ve all become addicted to blogging and the time-consuming thing that Internet is! I can’t wait to read the Cursed Child. Have you read Me Before You? I finished it yesterday, and it’s a beautiful story. It’s been quite popular so you might have heard about it :)
