Makeup Revolution: I Heart Makeup I Heart My Lips Lipbalm Collection

Last month Makeup Revolution launched their new website where they have merged all of the TAM beauty brands onto one site which is great as it means that you can purchase multiple brands and pay just one shipping fee instead of separate ones. Around the same time they also released the ‘I Heart Makeup I Heart My Lips Lipbalm Collection’ which is a range of five different lip balms in different scents. The packaging of these are colourful rubber bullet casings and the lip balm inside is quite high, they have a rounded top which reminds me of the EOS lip balms. The five scents are: Raspberry Fizz, Mint Sorbet, Blueberry Crush, Cool Vanilla and Wild Strawberry and all smell lovely.As you may already know I’m a massive fan of Makeup Revolution and am normally always raving about them, however if I’m honest I was slightly disappointed with these lipbalms. When first applied they make my lips feel soft and moisturised, however this feeling only lasts a few hours and it doesn’t seem to nourish completely in comparison to other lipbalms (similar to vaseline in the fact that it doesn’t nourish properly). It’s good for a quick moisture boost but if you lips are quite dry or chapped them I would recommend using a more moisturising balm, however at £2.99 each they are pretty good value and the scents are lovely.
