Makeup Revolution I Heart Obsession Palettes

Makeup Revolution I Heart Obsession Wild is The Wind & Born To Die Palettes Review
Last month Makeup Revolution released a new range of limited edition palettes, there are five to choose from and I have two of them to share with you today. They’re called the I Heart Obsession Palettes and consist of ten eyeshadows each with a mixture of matte, shimmer and satin finishes.
Makeup Revolution I Heart Obsession Wild is The Wind & Born To Die Palettes Review
The packaging is plastic with a clear lid which I something I love as you can easily see what shades are inside and saves you from having to open lots of palettes to look for the shades you want. They’re slim, lightweight and the eyeshadow pans are a decent size.
Makeup Revolution I Heart Obsession Wild is The Wind Palette Swatches
The first palette is the I Heart Obsession ‘Wild is The Wind Palette’ (£3.99*) which would be suited for those who like to add a little bit of colour on their eyes. The shades are beautiful for Spring and even though this is a colourful palette, they are easily wearable shades (my favourites are the last three which look beautiful together). It contains five mattes, three shimmers and one satin finish eyeshadow.
Makeup Revolution I Heart Obsession Born To Die Palette Swatches
The other palette is the I Heart Obsession ‘Born To Die’ Palette (£3.99*), the shades are all neutrals therefore easily wearable and would appeal to a lot of people. Using the beautiful browns and creams this can be used to create a neutral smokey eye, lovely for both day and night. This is a nearly all matte palette as it contains seven matte, two shimmer and one satin finish eyeshadow.
Overall I’m impressed by both of these and I was really happy about the matte shades in particular as with previous Makeup Revolution palettes I have found the mattes to not be as pigmented as the shimmers but in this case they are both just as amazingly pigmented as each other, I’m guessing they have come up with a new formula! If there was anything I didn’t like about this it would be that there is minimal fall out with the shimmer shades, however this is only a tiny amount and for the price it’s still great value.

The pigmentation is so strong in these palettes! I'm actually really drawn to the colourful one, even though I always stick to browns on my eyes, great post! x

These both look gorgeous! I think I'm leaning towards Born to Die more though. I love my Romantic Smoked palette I wear it most days. Makeup Rev have been releasing some beautiful products recently!

I keep seeing amazing reviews of Makeup Revolution palettes, and I wish we could get them in Canada! Drugstores here are lacking quality eyeshadow palettes.
