We all know that Makeup Revolution are the king of dupes and it was going to be only a matter of time until they released another one! Makeup Revolutions new palette is basically identical in shades to the Lorac Pro Palette, I don’t actually own this so can’t compare them but just by looking they are very similar.
Makeup Revolutions Iconic Pro 1 Palette (£6.99*) contains 16 different shades, the top row are all mattes apart from the white on the far left and the bottom row are all shimmers. Now these are very much shimmers and not glitters which I prefer, they also have a metallic look to them which is beautiful and if you apply them wet it creates a gorgeous foil effect. The matte shades are pigmented however the shimmers are super pigmented, both are blend able, easy to apply and I experience no fall out. Unlike other palettes around this price point this actually comes with a double ended brush instead of the little sponge applicators which you normally get and I don’t ever use, the brush itself is actually quite nice.
I’ve taken swatches and the top photo is of the matte shades and the bottom photo is the shimmer shades. This is the most beautiful Makeup Revolution palette that I own, both the matte and shimmer shades are incredibly beautiful and I’m in love with it! It has everything I could ever want in a palette and there are so many more shade combinations I’m looking forward to trying out!
