Maybelline Color Tattoo 24HR | Metallic Pomegranate, Pink Gold, Eternal Gold, On & On Bronze

Maybelline Color Tattoo 24HR Review | Metallic Pomegrate, Pink Gold, On & On Bronze, Eternal Gold
I’m sure you have already heard many raving reviews about the Maybelline Color Tattoos however I have never mentioned them on my blog before so knew I had to share them with you. Over the past year I have become a massive fan of cream eyeshadows and have increased my love for them. They are creamy and soft to apply but don’t budge once they have dried, they’re also smudge and crease free. As the name suggests these are meant to last for 24 hours, surely people don’t wear makeup for that long? I don’t wear my makeup anywhere near as long as that so wouldn’t actually need the staying power to be that long, the longest I’ve worn these is around 12 hours and it’s still intact and the end of the day.

They all come in little acrylic pots which you can easily see the shade inside without having to open it, this is something I really like as it saves a lot of time when looking through shades especially if there is a specific one that you are looking for. I love to use these most when I’m having a more lazy day with my makeup, they look beautiful used on their own as an all over colour but are easy to blend if you wanted to use more shades together. I personally find these comparable to the Smashbox and MAC alternatives not just in formula and pigmentation, but also that they last just long on the eyes.

As you can see all of the shades are highly pigmented and have a beautiful shimmery finish.
Metallic Pomegranate: Maroon with hints of both red and brown.

On and On Bronze: Metallic bronze with cool undertones.
Pink Gold: Light rosy pink with cool undertones.
Eternal Gold: Medium yellow gold.
Overall I am in love with these and there isn’t anything I can fault about them, I’m definitely going to be adding more shades to my collection very soon. They retail at £4.99 and are a great budget friendly option if you’re looking to try out a new cream eyeshadow.

I love color tattoos, I just wish they didn't dry out so quickly – a couple of mine are wasted because of it :( Your photos are beautiful by the way! x

I bought Pink Gold and a colour from the 'Leather Effect' range, Vintage Plum, just yesterday. I love them already! I wanted to get On & On Bronze so badly but they unfortunately only had a tester pot in that shade so I couldn't! I can't wait to try some more already, especially Eternal Gold :)

I haven't tried any from the Leather Effect range but they look lovely! Oh that's such a shame, I had the same problem before I got it as they always seem to sell out quickly! x

Your blog posts are always such quality darling. I haven't actually tried the Maybelline 24hr tattoos but it's been on my list for AGES now. I think I just need to wander into my nearest drug store and pick up a few. On and on bronze looks like the one that will be my favourite. x
