It’s that time of year again where everything gets very festive on my blog starting with Christmas gift guides! I have a quite a few this year going up over the next few weeks so I hope you like them and they give you ideas and inspiration for Christmas presents. I’m starting with the Mens Christmas gift guide which has lots of ideas for your other half, family members and friends.

Even though this is technically a unisex gift as there are lots of women who would love this as a gift I feel that women have a much larger choice to choose from in comparison to men when it comes to advent calendars so thought it would be great to share in my mens gift guide.
If you’re looking for a luxury gift then Watch Shop has some beautiful watches to choose from and this Henry London one is perfect. This is the Henry London Chiswick Watch which has a gold tone metal bracelet and a green dial. It’s such a beautiful classic style that would suit so many different people and even though I’ve included this in my Mens gift guide it’s actually unisex, so is suitable for both men and women. I personally love the green watch face for men and think the ruby coloured watch face would be great for a woman. It’s one of those watches that stands out when wearing it and is a great way to add that luxury touch to any outfit.
Onto a few beauty products, Baylis & Harding always do the most amazing gift sets for Christmas every single year. This is the Mens Wash Bag which has all of the essentials such as hair & body wash, shower gel, face wash and aftershave balm. They’re all products that will be used so it makes the perfect gift if you are unsure what to buy someone, also the wash bag which is included is lovely too and a great size. You really can’t go wrong with Baylis & Harding gift sets, there’s literally something for everyone and I’ve loved their products for a few years now.
You can’t go wrong with shaving soaps and creams, they’re essentials for all men that shave and make lovely gifts. These are both from Amara which sells luxury gifts and home accessories, they have a wide range of lovely products but I picked these out as thought they would make great gifts suitable for the majority of men. The Edwin Jagger Traditional Sandalwood Soap is parben free and made from 99% natural components, it creates a creamy lather and comes in a handy travel container so easy to take with you if you’re going away. Then there is the Musgo Real Orange Amber shaving cream, it contains lanolin and glycerine which are designed to soften the beard and leaves a beautiful woody herbal fragrance. My partner Aaron loves it when I purchase shaving creams as he tends to buy the same ones so he likes that he can try new ones that might be more luxurious to the ones he normally uses on a weekly basis.
In contrast to the previous products this is the Beard Care Kit from Bulldog, perfect for those men with proud beards to show off. There is a comb and a 2 in 1 shampoo & conditioner contains green tea, aloe vera and camelina oil which is formulated to cleanse and condition. There’s also a beard balm which softens, conditions and moisturises the beard as well as a beard oil which is formulated to nourish the beard too. All of the Bulldog products are enriched with natural ingredients and never contain synthetic fragrances or artificial colours, there is a wide range of Christmas gift sets that they have released this year so there is something for everyone.
I feel that this Scotch Whiskey Treasures book by Tom Bruce-Gardyne would make a great present alongside the advent calendar and is perfect for any whiskey lover, whether they enjoy a wee dram now and again or a connoisseur of fine whiskies. The book is beautifully produced and comes in a lovely slipcase, it takes readers on an amazing journey around Scotland so if you know someone who is interested in the history of distillation, the industry, or they want to find out about different brands (as the book has detail on more than 80 brands) this is the book for them. Throughout the book it contains pouches which has stunning photos, maps and 20 removable facsimile memorabilia items which makes this interactive book more interesting especially when you can discover many whiskey regions including Highlands, Lowlands and Speyside, it also visits the best names in whiskey production such as Ardbeg, Talisker Glenlivet and many more.
I’m a big fan of products that are specially made for the festive period so when I came across these Christmas beers I couldn’t not include them as they’re such a great idea. These are from a company called Best of British Beer and this is a selection of 12 x 500ml bottles of limited edition British beers exclusive for Christmas! Three of the beers have been exclusively brewed for Best of British Beer so they are quite unusual and there is also a branded beer glass included to complete the gift. I’m saving these for Christmas day as thought they would be great for people to choose from which leads me onto another idea which is that you could purchase a big box of these and then split them up to make gifts for a few people.
