NYX Blogger of the Month | Le Frou Frou Mascara + Love in Paris Eyeshadow Palette Review

 

This month I am NYX Blogger of the Month, my first post was the other week which you can read here if you missed it. The last two products I will be reviews is the NYX Le Frou Frou Mascara and the NYX Love in Paris Eyeshadow Palette in Be Our Guest Maurice.

 

 

NYX Le Frou Frou Mascara* – £4.50

The mascara wand has a dense dome brush that reaches all of your lashes, I find that it coats lovely and is easy to reach the lashes on my inner corner. It volumizes and lengthens my lashes wonderfully but by the end of the day you can see that the mascara is starting to wear off. However, it’s still quickly becoming a favourite of mine!

 

 

NYX Love in Paris Eyeshadow Palette in Be Our Guest Maurice* – £10

I chose this palette as I felt that the colours would suit my eye colour, also most of my eye shadows I own are neutrals so thought it would make a nice change. As you can see there are 12 shimmery colours which are lovely and pigmented. I created a purple smoky eye using these colours and found that these are easy to blend. Included is a dual-ended applicator but I don’t like to use these as find brushes much easier to use, however it’s good if you want to touch up your eye makeup on the go. I’ve included swatches of the colours, when applied over an eye primer the lighter colours really stand out which is lovely for a spring makeup look.
