The Perfect Ankle Boots for This Autumn/Winter

I’m obsessed with ankle boots for autumn and winter, they’re one of the easiest styles of shoes to dress and can pull your whole outfit together. We have a lot of cold weather here in the UK so I wear them most of the year apart from the few warmer months that we have over the summer. These Quenton Brogue Chelsea boots by Dune are from House of Fraser (which has a massive selection of ankle boots) and are a sophisticated style of shoe which compliment many different outfits. I absolutely adore them and will be wearing them a lot over the next few months, also as they are leather and such great quality they will definitely last me a long time. As the weather has been quite chilly recently I thought it was about time to get my fluffy faux fur hat and checked scarf out the wardrobe to keep me warm. The long coat which is from French Connection is a favourite of mine as I love the little faux fur collar and I can wear it on top of anything to smarten up my outfit, it’s also a beautiful colour although I must admit that this means it can get dirty quite quickly (but I ignore that as I love it so much but reminds me that I need to pop down to the dry cleaners again very soon).As you may have noticed I love to wear socks with little frills around the top as I think it’s a cute little touch and looks quite nice at the top of ankle boots.
