Everyone has a signature scent and the majority of us love to be able to smell their own fragrance on themselves, however once you’ve worn it regularly over a period of time you get used to it so can’t enjoy the scent. I’ve had the same signature scent for years which is Chanel Coco Mademoiselle, however recently I’ve been on the hunt for a new scent. One of the expert perfume buyers from John Lewis has selected a new fragrance for myself based on my preferences and I’m excited to share with you the gorgeous scent they chose and the reasons why.
The perfume they selected is the Prada La Femme L’Eau and this is the experts’ reasoning:
“Coco Mademoiselle is a fresh oriental fragrance and because of this I would recommend the new Prada La Femme launch, L’Eau. Similarly this fragrance is centred around white florals, and is a fresh take on La Femme original. The bottle is absolutely gorgeous; sophisticated and feminine, it will look stunning on your dressing table.”
I love the freshness of this scent; frangipani flower enriched by the essence of mandarin to make the note even fresher and smothered by ylang ylang with tuberose notes to enhance this airy mix. I honestly don’t think that I could have been matched to a more perfect fragrance, it’s incredible! Prada La Femme L’Eau is a fresh and luxurious scent in which the luxury extends to the bottle too which looks gorgeous on my desk. It has the same elegance and femininity as Coco Mademoiselle and I’ve been wearing it every day since I received it (I’ve also has a LOT of compliments). The scent is very distinctive which gives it even more potential of becoming a signature scent, only time will tell!
Wearing certain fragrances gives me a confidence boost and this is one of those fragrances that has this effect. This fragrance would be perfect if you’re also a lover of Coco Mademoiselle or you’re looking to switch up your scent! Who knows, this may even be your new signature scent!
