Review: Quick Fix Facials – Anti-Blemish Mud Mask

Sorry about the purple writing, it would not focus!
After falling in love with the Quick Fix Facials: Exfoliating Scrub Mask I could not wait to try out more from their range, so I picked up the Anti-Blemish Mud Mask. I have sensitive combination skin, but it gets very oily throughout the day so thought this would be quite good!
It looks like a clay mask when you have applied it to your face, the consistency is not too thick and has a very light scent. So I waited the 10 minutes, washed it all off with a flannel and I was shocked. My face was bright red and patchy, I had an allergic reaction. It had faded by the next day but by looking at my face, it was the worse reaction I have ever had from a face product, it also broke me out in acne.

I personally would not recommend this product to anyone as I had such a bad reaction, but then again I do have very sensitive skin so the concentrating of salicylic acid may have just been too high for my skin to handle. I was so disappointed in this product, especially after I gave the Exfoliating Scrub Mask such a glowing review.

If you are still interested, it retails at £4.99 and can be purchased in-store and online at Boots.

I'm a sucker for cute packaging and if it weren't for your review I probably would have picked this up. Such a shame.

Oh that's such a shame! I saw these in Boots and was thinking of giving it a go, but I am glad I didn't now as mu skin can be sensitive too! Thank you for doing this review! It's funny how you can adore one product and really dislike the next, all from the same range, isn't it!

Hey, I had the same reaction too, especially on my cheeks. From looking online it seems quite common :/

I tried the collagen lift face mask and had a massive allergic reaction, I’m never allergic to anything so I thought it was strange! My face went really really red and blotchy, I’ve never had anything like that happens before I wonder what it was that caused it?

I wish I had read this before I used this product. The same thing happened to me. My skin is burning and red. How is this product still on sale??!?!
