Do you believe that sequins are only for Christmas? It’s time to get rid of that belief as they’re no longer reserved for just the party season and are here to dazzle all summer long. The way sequins dazzle in the sunlight is incredible and I’m so glad that this is such a huge trend at the moment as the stores are filled with so many beautiful styles. There something for everyone, whether you want to take charge with large sequins, or shimmer in the night with small sequins there’s so much variety that I wanted to share a few favourite sequin dresses of mine from Quiz Clothing.
The first is an amazing twist of the classic black dress and it’s at the top of my wishlist as I’d love to wear it to an event this summer. Another elegant style which would be perfect for a wedding is this flattering gold and white maxi dress with cami straps and a deep plunge. Usually it’s frowned upon to wear white to a wedding however the gold detailing and style of the dress makes this a perfect option. On the other hand, why not bring some colour into your outfit and make a statement with this off-the-shoulder dress in green with a sexy split going up to the thigh.
Moving onto some more informal styles that would also be perfect for events, however could be dressed down a little are these two shorter versions. The ombre effect on the white and silver dress is gorgeous with the different hues, it’s quite unusual and it’s a design that I’ve seen before. However if you want to stand out then this blue cami dress with large sequins is perfect, it’s a great way to add colour to your outfit and the shade of blue has a very summery feel. Also you could always dress these down with your accessories and shoes and even add tights when summer and we head into autumn. What I love about these dresses is that they’ve available in a variety of different colours, normally colours are seasons however when it comes to sequins, anything goes!
