Sleek Face Contour Kit
Sleek Face Contour Kit
I am no expert on contouring and still struggle with it if I am in a rush in the morning. I thought I would try out the Sleek Face Contour Kit (£6.95) as I had read quite a few reviews about it, I thought it might be a good product to try as at the time I had never tried to contour before. I picked up the light but it also comes in a medium and a dark, they are meant to suit all skin tones.
Inside the box you get a little leaflet explaining how to contour and highlight which is good for beginners, especially if you have never contoured before. However, I learnt how to contour through watching lots and lots of YouTube videos!
Sleek Face Contour Kit
It’s a duo compact which has a contour power and a shimmery highlighter. The contour powder is brilliant, it has a matte finish which can be hard to find and is highly pigmented and easy to blend. It leaves you with the gorgeous illusion of more sculpted and defined cheekbones, and as it’s so pigmented you only need a little bit. I also like to use the product on my jawline and up into my temples to add a bit more definition to my face.
The highlighter is very shimmery so you only need to use a little bit and is easy to blend too. I sweep this onto the apples of my cheeks and down the middle of my nose, the light reflects beautifully and gives you a natural healthy glow.
I am in love with this product and can’t see me changing for a while, the only negative thing I have to say is about the packaging. As it’s black and rubbery it can get dirty very easily, I often find myself having to give it a wipe often. Apart from that, I love everything else about it.
I’d love to know what products you use to contour your face if you do!

Oh wow I'm really bad at contouring myself but I feel like this would be a good palette for a beginner to have. Gonna go try this out for myself. Great review!!

I am not huge on contouring but do love the look of a healthy glow!! I just posted a review on the new Maybelline Master Hi-Light bronzer/blush.. It is just perfect for the glow I want. This looks so pretty as well! Thanks so much for sharing!

I actually use a Sleek bronzer too! It's the one that comes in the kit with the blush and highlighter but I only ever use the bronzer because the other two products aren't to my taste. I'm sure the bronzer shade is probably the exact same shade as this though, it's great!

I have lately been loving the sleek make-up range (I got their blusher) and the bronzer look really nice as well.
