I’ve been using The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Butter for over a year so I’m actually surprised that I’ve never featured it on my blog before now! It comes packaged in a large screw top tin and has a consistency which reminds me of the little tins of vaseline. The cleansing butter retails at £12 however The Body Shop regulary run promotions and I actually got 30% off my order so stocked up on a few to last me a while.
This makeup removing cleansing balm feels like butter and melts onto the skin on contact. I gently rub it all over my face including my eyes (yes it’s gentle enough) and then take a hot muslin cloth to gently remove all of my makeup. This doesn’t dry out my skin or make it feel tight, instead my face feels clean and soft and it takes of makeup effortlessly. I love this cleansing butter and would recommend it to everyone, especially if you have sensitive skin and over the colder months as it keeps my skin from going a little crazy because of the drop in temperature.

This sounds so cool and never tried anything like it. I didn’t know it can clear makeup. I need to pop it on my wish list when I go to the body shop.

I’d never heard about cleansing butters before, it is such an innovative way to remove makeup! It sounds really nice, and it must last you for quite a while so the £12 can be well worth it!

I havent tried this, but I tried the liquid chamomile makeup remover from the body shop. That worked really well :) I think I’ll give this a go next.
