When I first found out about hair chalk I was really excited, I’ve always wanted to dye the ends of my hair pink but have always been worried it would look awful on me. Since hair chalks just wash out of your hair I thought it would be a lot of fun to try them out! I received The Body Shops Chair Chalk in Vibrant Pink in my goodie bag from Company’s Style Blogger Awards Evening and couldn’t wait to try it out.
As my hair is blonde I thought that the colour might be too bright, but it actually turned out to be a lovely baby pink shade. The application was really easy and only took my 10 minutes, the instructions are on the back so you know how to use it correctly. I put a towel around my shoulders to stop the pink from transferring onto my skin, lightly brushed my hair then sealed with hair spray. The colour stayed all day and I didn’t experience any fall out which is brilliant, I was really worried that I would end up with a pink neck by the end of the day. As my hair is light I had to wash my hair twice to get all of the colour out but it was easy enough to wash out.
Hair chalks are great for experimenting with your hair and good for people like me who want something fun every now and then, but don’t want to commit to a permanent change. Also if you’re going to a festival this summer I think this would be great to play around with!

Your hair looks wonderful in the pink- it's definitely not too bright, and it blends in well, I'd say! On the packaging it looks reaally bright though! Hmm. Anyway, sounds like an easy process too. I'll check this out in The Body Shop! :) X

This is such a gorgeous pastel shade! I had my hair dip dyed pink a few years ago, and it took six months to come out completely so hair chalk is definitely the way forward for short term!

I love those hair chalks, I have both the pink and blue however I didn't find that they lasted all day in my hair. Perhaps I need to use a bit more hairspray rather than a light mist. Looks fab on you! xx
