The Burgundy Edit

burgundy-winter-styleburgundy-autumn-outfit This year I have fallen in love with burgundy and want everything in the colour, normally I wear a lot of black and red in the colder months whereas this year has been different and have also been loving mustard and green. I picked up this burgundy cord skirt from Primark and have been pairing it with shirts and jumpers, it actually fits really well and I was after a skirt in this colour for a few weeks and it was the only place I could find one. Obviously I had to wear my pom pom hat too in the same colour and my MAC lipstick in the shade Diva which I become obsessed with every year.burgundy-edit-outfit-post burgundy-cord-skirt-outfit skirt-and-burgundy-cord-skirt-outfit This blouse has the cutest ice creams, cactus plants, hearts and other illustrations all over it so I couldn’t resist picking this up too from Primark. Blouses are perfect transitional pieces as you can wear them on their own but if you get a little chilly then you can throw on a cardigan over the top and it still looks great.beige-burberry-ankle-bootsAs you may already know I love ankle boots around this time of year and these boots from Burberry go with so many different outfits and I love the gold zip detailing. The contrast heel is a lovely detail and boots are something I love to invest in as they it means that they will last a long time even though they get worn a lot.

Your boots are so lovely, I love that nude colour! Makes a change from black or brown boots we usually go for. And burgundy is one of my favourite autumn/winter colours. It just makes you feel seasonal haha. The Diva lipstick is a really pretty shade! :D

I’m loving burgundy too, but I always have. I actually just painted my nails a burgundy shade by OPI about 5 minutes ago. LOL. Super cute outfit, love the hat especially!
