One of my favourite festive activities for the month of December is visiting all the different Christmas markets. I always visit Winter Wonderland in London every year with my family as part of a little tradition that we do together, however my favourites are European Christmas markets. I love everything from the beautiful wooden chalets, craftsmen selling exquisite handmade decorations and gifts, and drinking warm mulled wine whilst strolling around.

Hot chocolate and mulled wine instantly bring back memories, they’re must-have drinks for this time of the year and I love enjoying them at home in the evening, snuggled on the sofa watching a Christmas movie. However this hamper is also full of another amazing goodies such as traditional nutcrackers (which are now on my tree), spice scented candles, make-your-own yule log and portable phone charger which is a must for when you’re out and about in December taking photos of everything related to Christmas.
Now you can’t go visit a market and not pick up a traditional cookie and souvenir mug to take home and enjoy with a mince pie once your trip is over. This year I didn’t visit any markets abroad but next year I definitely would love to next year, I’ve already been browsing Jet2Holidays this evening for ideas.
