Every year I visit The Tree Barn at Christmas Common with my family to choose our Christmas trees, it’s our third year buying a real tree and even though I grew up having artificial trees I can’t see us going back. As you drive up there are fields upon fields full of Christmas trees in all sizes, and they were expecting to sell an incredible 4000 trees the weekend we visited. They provide trees and wreaths not just for peoples homes, but for businesses and places of interest too. Also they have an adorable Christmas shop with unique decorations and a range of different decorations, where we always pick up a few new decorations for the tree every time we visit.
Now you can’t go on a mission to find the perfect Christmas tree without wearing a Christmas jumper! This adorable polar bear jumper with spots is from the Poppy Shop and 100% of the profits go towards the Royal British Legion which is incredible. Also unlike others the spot design goes around the back of the jumper too and it’s unisex so available in sizes for both women and men. I’ll be wearing this not just on Christmas Jumper Day but also throughout the month, I’m even considering wearing it on Christmas Day.
Our Christmas tree is now up in our house fully decorated along with our wreath we have hung on the door, however I still need to finish wrapping presents for my loved ones. I recently worked with The Body Shop on their Feel-Good Christmas Gift Wrapping Edit where I shared my tips on how to wrap awkwardly shaped gifts as they can be tricky, so if you’re having trouble too then you might be interested in having a little read. Luckily most of the gifts I’ve bought this year as box shaped, however there’s still a few that need a little more attention as they’re awkwardly shaped. Also does anyone else love to listen to Christmas music whilst wearing their most festive attire whilst wrapping?! It puts me in such a festive mood!
Throughout the winter season knee-high boots are a staple in my wardrobe, they’re not just stylish but also practical which is what makes them perfect. These Kate Leather Riding Boots from Jones Bookmaker have taken inspiration from the iconic riding boot style, offering country chic vibes with a biker chick twist with the studded metallic embellishments. Jones Bookmaker is an iconic company which was established 1857 when Alfred Jones and his wife Emma opened a footwear shop in London. Over the years they expanded and grew, becoming what we know them as today, a high quality footwear brand which is loved and trusted.
I’d love to know if you prefer artificial or real Christmas trees, and if you’ll be Christmas jumpers throughout the month, or just on Christmas Jumper Day this year!
