If you follow me on any social media account then you know it’s pretty apparent that I love summer, I’m constantly tweeting that the sun is finally out and posting photos of ice creams and blue skies on my Instagram stories. I feel that everybody is happier when the sun is shining and it’s warm outside, also the buzzing atmosphere when you go out is completely different! Recently we had a heatwave in the UK and everyone went from being bundled up in their coats to wearing flip flops and shorts, whilst eating ice cream and cooking BBQs in their gardens (yes this is myself).
The list of reasons why I love summer so much is endless, however one of the reasons right at the top would be adventures. In the summer I tend to plan more adventures with family and friends, everyone is more excited about going out and doing things that aren’t just ordering a takeaway and having a movie night in (don’t get me wrong I love these things).
These ASOS black mom shorts are my go-to shorts every year, they’re high waisted and ASOS actually release this exact same style yearly! It’s another year in which I am obsessed with crochet, I talk about crochet all the time when the weather warms up as I fall in love with it all over again. This black crochet top is from Tobi and it’s the perfect length to wear with high waist shorts. I love the gold beaded detailing and the gold zip as they’re both beautiful touches and make it a little more unique. As you can obviously see through crochet I am wearing a bralet underneath!

I love summer too – the long days, the warmer weather, the light… I always feel ten times happier when the sun is out, it has such a massive impact on my mood!
